Mother Larissa

I was one of the maybe dozen people in the world who played the collectible card game Rage in the mid-to-late 90’s. Rage and its parent game, Werewolf: the Apocalypse, inspired me to start illustrating for role-playing games when I was about 12. I copied my favorite artists’ work and designed my own cards.

I’ve never been happy with how I draw humans, so this year I started reinterpreting Rage cards as a way to explore my style. Mother Larissa is a cunning, smelly old werewolf lady who leads New York’s Bone Gnawers.
