I’ve been working on a longform comic called Castle Whatsitsname in one form or another since about 2005. The first installment ran as a webcomic from 2012-2013, but Life got in the way. Despite Life, this story still burns strong in my heart. One day I hope it touches you too.
Note: Cheshire calls herself a “hermaphrodite,” because as a werewolf raised outside human society, she is not yet aware of the full gender spectrum and seeks to reclaim a slur in the same way lesbians reclaimed “dyke.” Cheshire alternates pronouns based on how he’s feeling on a given day, and I plan to address it in a future storyline.
